Wadsworth Youth Softball - Fall Ball Registration is OPEN!
 

Registration is open until July 11th! This is the latest we can take names so we have time to split teams, order jerseys, and start practice.

 

This fall we will be returning to the STAL league (same as spring). STAL League Website is https://allprosoftware.net/stal

 

All games will be at the following fields:

 - Jedd Park:  2275 Pickle Rd. Akron, OH, 44312

 - Schrop Elementary:  2215 Pickle Rd. Akron, OH 44312 

 - East Liberty Park:  471 E. Turkeyfoot Rd. Akron, OH 44319

 

• Age Groups:  8U, 10U, 12U, 14U.  Age groups are based on age as of January 1, 2025. For example, if your player turns 11 on January 2nd, they are still eligible to play 10U because they were 10 as of January 1st.

• Rosters:  Rosters for all age groups will be selected by league officials and coaches.

• Game Days:  8U: Tuesday & Thursdays; 10U, 12U, 14U: Doubleheaders on Sundays

• Season Starts:
  • 8U: August 12th
    • 10 game schedule with a single elimination tournament to end no later than October 9th
  • 10U, 12U, 14U: August 10th  
    • 10 game schedule with a single elimination tournament on September 28th & possibly October 5th
  • NO GAMES ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND
     
• Cost: This fee covers registration, insurance, jerseys, balls, umpire fees, league costs, etc.
  • 8U, 10U, 12U & 14U: $110 per player
  • Payments can be made via Venmo @wadsworthyouthsoftball, or Cash/Checks due within 48 hours of registration, payable to WYBSA, and can be dropped off at 1375 Bolich Drive

Registration Notes:

• Fill out one form for each player.
• $220 family max applies. Please make notation in comment section. Assistance for financial challenges is available. Please contact wybsa.infoupdates@gmail.com for additional information.
• Registrations are due by midnight on July 11th.
• Payment must be made immediately after registration unless another payment plan is established prior to registration.

10U: 35’ – 11” Softballs

12U: 40’ – 12” Softballs

14U: 43’ – 12” Softballs

All Base Paths will be 60’

 

Basics

No Metal Cleats

Max 15 Players per team

Participants must reside within the Wadsworth School District or a waiver must be signed by community they are coming from

Players must play at least 75% of scheduled games to participate in the tournament.
