Wadsworth Youth Softball - Spring Registration!
Registration is open until FEBRUARY 13th for 8u - 14u and MARCH 15th for 6u (T-Ball)! This is the latest we can take names so we have time to complete evaluations, split teams, order jerseys, and start practice!
- Age Groups: 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U. Age groups are based on age as of January 1, 2026. For example, if your player turns 11 on January 2nd, they are still eligible to play 10U because they were 10 as of January 1st.
- Rosters: Rosters for all age groups will be selected by league officials and coaches.
- Game Days: Determined by league officials and coaches at game scheduling meeting in April.
- IMPORTANT SEASON DATES:
- Winter Workouts - January 11th through March 29th
- Evaluations - February 22nd (10U, 12U and 14U)
- Outdoor Practices - Begin week of April 6th (8u - 14u, 6u outside practices begin in May)
- Games Begin - Week of May 4th (8u - 14u, 6u games begin in June)
- Last regular season games: June 19th (8u-14u, 6u games end with an All Star game on June 27th)
- Single elimination tournament begins the week of June 22nd and will go no later than July 10th (8u - 14u)
- Cost: This fee covers registration, insurance, jerseys, balls, umpire fees, league costs, etc.

- Cash/Checks due within 48 hours of registration, payable to WYBSA, and can be dropped off at 1375 Bolich Drive
- 6U/T-Ball: Returning T-Ball players $60; First year T-Ball players: Free
- 8U, 10U, 12U & 14U: $125 per player
- $250 family max applies. Please make notation in comment section.

- Registrations are due by midnight on February 13th (8u-14u) and March 15th (6u)
- Payment must be made immediately after registration unless another payment plan is established prior to registration.

PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN, ATHLETE & COACHES CONDUCT RULES:
Any parent/guardian, athlete and/or coach guilty of improper conduct at any game or practice are subject to fines and suspension as outlined in the codes of conduct on the Wadsworth Youth Softball website.

AUTHORIZATION FOR CONSENT FOR EMERGENCY TREATMENT:
I/We the undersigned parent of legal guardian of the above named player, a minor, hereby authorize WYBSA as agents for the undersigned to consent to any medical examination, X-Ray, anesthetic, medical, or surgical treatment and care at hospital designated below, which is deemed advisable by, and rendered under, the general or specific supervision of any physician and/or surgeon licensed by the State of Ohio to practice medicine. We the undersigned parent(s), or legal guardian, requested the following:
The risk of injury to participants is significant, including the potential for permanent disability and death. For myself, spouse and child I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, known and unknown, even if arising from negligence, and therefore hereby indemnify and hold harmless WYBSA and its officers and other volunteers. If I observe or acquire information regarding any safety concern regarding the program or my child's readiness for participation I will remove my child from the participation and bring such attention to the nearest coach or WYBSA official immediately. I am aware that the contact info for all officers and commissioners is posted at the WYBSA website at www.wadsworthyouthsoftball.com. Additionally, I acknowledge that I have reviewed and understand Lyndsay's Law, http://www.odh.ohio.gov/landing/Lindsays-Law.aspx and understand that I will be required to sign an acknowledgement form before my child / children will be allowed to participate.
